|He was born Feb. 17, 1932, in Marengo, Ohio, to the late Ludwig and Edie Courtwright Singenstreu. He did small engine repair and was in the U.S. Army for 20 years. He was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church.|
04.03.2007 I found a publication, where Frank asked for Magdalena Mumme and wrote "I am a first generation American as my father and grandfather immigrated to USA in 1909."
Frank collected plenty of information about the "Singenstreu" family in the USA. At around 2005 he searched for his German ancestors and published a note ("searching for Magdalena Mumme") in the internet. After his death, I found his request and identified Magdalena in our family tree. I tried to contact him but I did not got an answer. After a while, I intensified my actions and asked all "Singenstreus" in Texas. Finally, Frank's son Timothy answered and after a while his family gave me a copy of all his work.
Thank You Frank! You did a good job and I am proud to add the "Singenstreu"-branch to the family tree of the "Mummen".
