There is another 'Jakob Orth' (24 Aug 1824-14 Dec 1888) buried
in the N.B.C.C. That one is buried alone. This one is buried
with 'Johanna' 1865-1867. Was Louise Orth (b.1830) related to
our Orths? She is mentioned in 'Family Footsteps', 3/96, p.9,
as marrying Peter Paul Linnartz, etc. Galveston arrival of
'Neptun' shows family of six from Hohenroth, Bad Neustadt Co.,
Bayern District, Germany. E. & Sabine Gobel were on same ship
from there.
Some speculation that Johannes Darn Orth and Jacob Heinrich
Orth may have been brothers.
