NEHG Register: He was made freeman, 9 Jan., 1673/4, was a
cordwainer, captain-lieutenant in the militia, and deacon of
the First Parish. In 1698 he preached the election sermon.
About 1702 he wrote the memoir of his uncle Rev. James Noyes,
in Mather's Magnolia. Mass. and Maine Families: Represented the
town in the General Court 1709-1712.
